The Global Studies Program

What Is Global Studies?

Global Studies is a diploma program at Watkinson School dedicated to creating and nurturing globally engaged citizens. During Global Studies, we focus on our nine themes: The arts, the environment, globalization, global public health, human rights, non-violence and war, religion, sustainability, and technology. During our Junior year, we focused on the attention economy and what we could do to disconnect from technology. During Senior year we are focusing on how we can be more engaged citizens.
